Tourists Are Ruining Yellowstone
Just a year ago, a climate assessment report several years in the making was released, warning that the future of Yellowstone was threatened by climate change. The move to a warmer, drier climate would threaten Yellowstone’s wildlife and lead to more extreme weather events, the report said. Then, this June, a “one-in-a-thousand-years” flood shut down the park at the beginning of its peak tourist season.
