This is the moment a very polite US open steward asked climate protesters to stop chanting during a semi-final match. The match between Coco Gauff and Karolina Muchova was delayed by 49 minutes, while chants of “Kick them out! Kick them out!” rung out across the Arthur Ashe Stadium. One activist glued their bare feet to the stand in order to cause further disruption. The US Tennis Association said a total of four protesters had been removed and taken into NYPD custody.
